Broad Street Storage is hands-down the best storage facility I have ever dealt with in my entire life — and that’s saying a lot after many years of using storage units. Their customer service is unmatched. Every single person I’ve interacted with has been kind, sympathetic, professional, and genuinely caring. There is nothing corporate, cold, or transactional about this place. It feels like a true hometown, family-run business run by good people who actually care about their customers as human beings. I was diagnosed with cancer in August, and during one of the most overwhelming and stressful periods of my life, they went above and beyond with compassion, understanding, and patience. They made what could have been an incredibly stressful situation feel manageable — something I will never forget. Their empathy and consideration genuinely made my life easier at a time when I needed it most. The difference between Broad Street Storage and other storage companies is night and day. I’ve dealt with some truly awful, dehumanizing experiences at large corporate storage chains — including StorQuest — where I was treated with zero compassion or basic decency. Broad Street Storage is the exact opposite of that. They set a standard that is so far above the usual low bar in this industry that it’s almost unbelievable. This is what happens when good people run a good business. If you are looking for a storage facility where you will be treated with respect, kindness, and genuine care — look no further. Broad Street Storage in San Luis Obispo is the absolute best place for your storage needs. It is kept clean and very safe. Pricing is affordable. Ryan and Ann are both helpful and kind. The office even has a coffee and snack bar! They definitely deserve a five star rating!
